I am a writer, tutor, educator, and framework developer based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

My work tends to begin with the same question:

What is actually producing the outcome we are seeing?

I use structural and causal reasoning to identify hidden problems, separate events from interpretation, and turn complicated material into something people can understand and use. That process appears in different forms across my work.

In tutoring, I identify the specific barrier preventing a student from demonstrating what they know. In writing, I explore causality, systems, education, AI, human behaviour, and institutional structures. In framework development, I build models and practical tools for examining how conditions, awareness, choices, and mediation shape outcomes.

I have more than 20 years of experience in education, training, writing, and instructional work.

My tutoring focuses primarily on English, EAL, academic writing, and the hidden language demands found inside subjects such as science and social studies. I do not assume that a student who is struggling simply needs more practice. I look for where the process is breaking down and build instruction around the actual problem.

I also provide CAEC (Canadian Academic Equivalency Certifcate) preparation and CELPIP English language test preparation.

I am the creator of The Philosophy of Integration, a structural framework for examining cause, effect, awareness, choice, mediation, persistence, and coherence across human and institutional systems.

The framework has been applied to education, psychology, sociology, biology, history, media, AI, and other domains. It has also been used to develop practical tools, including protocols for analyzing news articles, historical events, rubrics, and educational problems.

My philosophical and book-length work has also been published under the pen name Della Wren.

My professional background includes computer training, online education, instructional design, and digital publishing.

More recently, I have been exploring how AI can support structured analysis, evaluation, rubric design, historical research, education, and framework development. I am particularly interested in using AI to clarify causal structures rather than asking it to supply moral judgments, motives, or polished narratives unsupported by evidence.

AI was used in the development of my framework to test my ideas, find and apply causal structures to historical events, and to help identify and understand the overarching patterns of human behavior.

I believe that AI is a valuable tool in our ability to understand ourselves and the world around us and to that end, I will continue to explore the benefits and value AI can bring to my work and the people that find it.
