Pick a Card for Valentine's Day!
I thought it might be fun to do a pick a card reading for Valentine's Day! I'm using the Romance Angels Deck by Doreen Virtue.
Whether you're single or paired up, I've provided interpretations for all! Please use the picture above to pick a card and read on to find out which card you've chosen!
The card is Forgiving and Learning.
If you're single this card is about doing the inner work to discover who you are and what you want out of a relationship. It may be that you discover you need someone completely different from what you thought. It may be that you decide you don't want a relationship! That's okay too! This process of self-discovery is an important one for healing. Use this time to reflect on where you've been and where you would like to go in the relationship department. There is no wrong choice, only new things to learn.
If you are already in a relationship, this card is still about forgiving and learning, but within the bounds of a relationship. Perhaps you're still learning about your partner. Perhaps you've been married for 30 years and you're still discovering new things about your partner. This process of learning about each other and about ourselves in a relationship creates space for growth, compassion and more love. Open up and expand your vision to see what lessons your relationship holds for you.
The card is Give Your Relationship a Chance
If you're single this card is about giving your relationship with yourself a chance to grow and change. The relationship we have with ourselves is the most important relationship we have. Use this as a sign that for Valentine's Day learning to love yourself should be on your priority list.
If you're partnered up, this card may be a sign of frustration with your current relationship. Give the relationship another chance. Maybe it's not time to throw it all away just yet. Look for the things that made you fall in love with your partner originally and focus on those.
It's easy to get caught up in the moment and forget why we got into the relationship to start with. Find those reasons and use them to help you move through the more challenging times. All is well.
The card is Honeymoon!
If you are single, this may be a sign to take yourself on a little trip. Go enjoy some alone time, take a little retreat. It's okay to practice self-care. One of the ways we can do that is by escaping everyday life and carving out some time for ourselves.
If you can't afford a mini-vacation, try a stay-cation at home. Take a day or two to shut off the phone and simply be with yourself. Enjoy the time away from your daily life and focus on yourself. We all need a break every now and then.
If you're partnered up, maybe it's time for a second honeymoon. Maybe it's just time to be alone as a couple, rekindle the romance and enjoy each other's company. You are a couple after all. It's important to find time to go on dates, romance each other and remember why you're together. Spoil yourself and have a good time!
Single, partnered or somewhere in between, enjoy the day. Take time for yourself, rekindle that romance or just be. Make Valentine's Day a day you can enjoy. Don't worry about what everybody else is doing. Be you! The world will adjust!
Have a magical day. Love to all!
